Wow, what a difference! If you have low expectations, you might not be disappointed.Yes, you read that right. We even looked at this CA Brewery’s menu again to kind of compare selections and pricing. But we won’t be back due to all of the other issues. The fact that DB makes decent beer was the only saving grace for me this visit. We waited about 20 minutes for a waiter, and ended up grabbing another waiter serving another family that came in well after us. No wine or other selections for those that do not drink beer, also unlike the brewery in CA. ěurgers are small … but still cost more than the burgers in CA! Little did we know that we set our expectations way too high and were sorely disappointed. So, when we had the opportunity to visit the Outpost for dinner, we were expecting a very similar experience to what we had at the much smaller brewery in CA. the beer I enjoyed so much when we lived in Central CA. I’ve been enjoying Devil’s Backbone beer since moving to VA from CA in 2020. My wife and I visited the Devil’s Backbone Outpost in Lexington for dinner on Sunday before Labor Day.
